Payment Policy We hope you understand that our credit policies are a necessary part of assuring the financial resources needed to maintain this vital health care facility for our patients. Charges for medical services at the Morehead Clinic are due and payable at the time services are rendered. On the day of service you will be responsible for only that portion of your charges which are not covered by your insurance. The Morehead Clinic accepts Visa and MasterCard. If unusual circumstances make it impossible for you to meet our credit terms, we invite you to call and personally discuss the matter with our Patient Accounts Department. Charges for medical care rendered by our physicians in the hospital are billed by the Morehead Clinic and should not be confused with charges for other care or services provided by the hospital or other prividers who are not employed by the Morehead Clinic. If your services are covered by Kentucky Medical Assistance Program (KMAP), the patient's medical card must be presented before clinic services are received; otherwise personal payment will be expected. With each visit to the Clinic, proof of insurance or your medical card must be presented. Insurance claims are completed and submitted without charge, as a courtesy to you. |
